Music Makes One!!

Hey guys i'm back to blog something that i have been waiting since last year.
The biggest Asian Music Award is with 2.1billion Asian people that is 2011 MAMA awards which will be held in Singapore Indoor Stadium, 2011.11.29 (Tue) !!!
And is a 6 hours live music awards =)
Starting from 1700-1900 Red Carpet, 1900-2300 The Award (GMT+9)

However, the first korean music video award was held in 1999, and it transformed into The Best Korean Music Award 'Mnet Km Music Festival' and NOW it becomes The Best Asian Music Festival "Mnet Asian Music Awards"
As i told you guys that i have been waiting this awards from last year, the slogan for last year is One Asian and the slogan for this year MAMA award will be "MUSIC MAKES ONE" which means every artists and fans from Asia and all around the world become one under the name of "MUSIC"

By the way, there are some of the biggest names on the attendees list which include Lee Byung Hun and Song Seung Heon, both of which have enormous followings all around the Asia. Apart from that, Song Joong Gi from the popular TV drama "Sungkyungkwan Scandal" as well as Park Shi Hoo, Ji Sung, Go Soo and Kim Soo Hyun are among those who will add the glitz and dazzle to the event.

The lineup of female stars are equally as impressive too!! Seasoned Hallyu star Kim Hee Sun, "Korean Barbie Doll", Han Chae Young, together with Yoon Eun Hye, Han Hyo Joo and Kim Min Hee will enchant K-pop fans. Adding to the already very glamorous list, Kang So Ra who recently grabbed attention with her witty acceptance speech dance at the 'Style Icon Awards, Bae Soo Bin, Nam Gyu Ri, Yoon Seung Ah, Kim Sung Soo, Oh Ji Ho and many other noticeable Korean srars will be making a striking appearance too. Well, it is confirmed that will.i.am and apl.de.ap from the Black Eyed Peas will be there performing along with top Korean Artistes Girl's Generation, 2NE1, Super Junior, MissA, Beast, Yb and Dynamice Duo!!

A Leader's Heart

Hi Guys!!! Guess what!! Today is 11/11/11!!! My cousin brother Justin's birthday fall on today!!
But i'm not gonna blog about him >< I'm sorry Justin..
Today i would to like share a great leader which is Kim Taeyeon from SNSD a.k.a Girls Generation <3
First of all, singing and dancing on the stage with thousands of fans screaming and cheering is the most blissful feeling ever which i wanna be in the future!! But my parents sure won't allow me to do that cause i'm just an non talented boy ><
By the way, the feeling of knowing that those countless hours of practicing everything, from footwork to smiles, has finally paid off. That's the feeling of success. But one can never be popular without knowing what it's like to be hated or envied upon, and one can never be famous w/o escaping from criticism. There will be always be a few who seek joy through other's misery. This is the reality!! and hatred is a part of human nature...

As a fan of SNSD, we call ourselves a SONE!! and usually we love and support SNSD for all the times =) However, like in any fandom, one will always have his/her biases, and it's not surprising to know that leader, Kim Taeyeon has the largest fanbase within SNSD. But she hasn't garnered so much attention because she is their leader. This one word isn't enough to make thousands of people flock towards her like a beacon of light. For sure, it plays a fair role in grabbing attention, but it's definitely not one of the main reasons why people love and support her.

Besides, she was chosen as SNSD's leader because she was the oldest in the group, but this wasn't what make her an excellent leader. Every person has the ability to gather a group and proclaim themselves as "HEAD", but being a good leader is a whole new story. A great part of SNSD success comes from Taeyeon <3 who leads with natural-born talent. Respects and devotion sum up Taeyeon's leadership. This is the reason behind which i wanna mention and why the other eight are able to trust Taeyeon with their lives. It's the reason behind how they have been able to grow and learn from each other. (To live and love as a family)

My first glance of SNSD when they came out their first debut Into The New World in 2007 around july and august, Taeyeon reminds me of a little kid. Happy, dorky and full of smiles. It's hard to imagine how someone so small can muster the energy and courage to lead and motivate eight other girls. There is just so much that could go wrong. So many expectations. So many eyes scrutinizing your every move because as head of the group, what you do will ultimately affect the rest of the team as well. This, in itself, is already a huge burden.

But Taeyeon manages it all extremely well. As a leader, it is her job to lay down the first and most important step that will, in one sense or another, play a part in determining the success of SNSD. When trying something new, Taeyeon will be the one who goes first. When starting off a talk or interview, Taeyeon introduces the group. If she does it well, a certain sense of confidence is established and morale is lifted. She brings SNSD together and keeps nine unified as one!! This girl knows she is a wonderful singer, and she knows she can stand firmly on her own. There are countless breathtaking OSTs out there to prove that. But as the leader of SNSD, her role is to ensure that her members can stand firmly with her as well.

So what makes me wanna post about Taeyeon as a part of my life in this blog?? How has such a tiny cute girl held and strengthened the Soshibond for over four years? The answer lies in the fact that Taeyeon is independent. She is different from the rest and quite frankly, she needs to be. For sure, by differentiating herself and drifting a bit away from the group, she has gotten more attention, but reality is harsh and nothing good comes w/o a price. Her independence holds the Soshibond together, but in order to strengthen this bond, Taeyeon has isolates herself from the rest. Of course she is praised by countless people fro her independence, but honestly, we can't even come close to understanding any of the hardships she is forced to face. When her members are feeling under the weather, it's Taeyeon who comforts them through words and hugs. But when the leader is upset, who does she turn to? She is the leader, and she's supposed to stay strong always.

As a great leader, the burden on Taeyeon is tremendous and self-sacrifice cannot be avoided to ensure that everything else runs smoothly. For a person to sacrifice a little bit of their well-being in order to satisfy the others around them deserves the upmost respect. Think back to the recent fan meeting event which happened past few week in New York City. Remember how Taeyeon looked as pale as a ghost and extremely weak?? She had apparently eaten food that had been in contact with nuts thus causing an allergic reaction. Yet despite this incident that took menacing toll on her body, Taeyeon treid to remain strong, positive and smile. She didn't want to worry the fans, but more importantly, she didn't want to worry her unnies (her sisters) >< For them, just the mere thought that Taeyeon couldn't attend the fan meeting because she was sick and weak is enough to drain morale completely. How could the other eight possibly focus knowing that their leader, their unnie was extremely ill?? Taeyeon couldn't let that happen. So in the end, she put on a professional face and sacrifice her well-being for all of us. To be present at the fan meeting is one thing, but to laugh, smile and even sing and dance on the small stage... That, in itself, is worthy of admiration beyond anything that words can describe. Because nine have an ironclad rule of leaving not even a single member behind. If they are to succeed, it will be as nine. It is either nine or nothing.

For the inner SONE in me, the mere presence of Taeyeon at the fanmeet was enough to make love this fandom even more. It was enough to fuel me up with the motivation to never give up, no matter how difficult things get because along with experience and hardships come little life lessons that help me learn and grow. To me, I feel truly blessed to have immersed myself into this fandom because every little thing that we have done to support the girls, and every single little gesture the girls have done to reciprocate our love is truly amazing. There are no regrets at all. Memories capable of moving me to tears, making me laugh nonstop, but most importantly, memories that allow me to go not even a day w/o being thankful for all that this fandom has given me. I love you SNSD and KimTaeyeon <3

The Boys <3

A Brand New World, Brand New Life, Brand New Sound and a Brand New Boy

This gonna be the second post of the day!!!
Firstly, i wanna mention back past 3 months. I admitted that some problems occurred and caused myself din't really focus and do well in my semester2 finals which caused me to repeat my subject in semester4. I wanna apologize to my parents once again for wasting their money...
When the 4th semester started, I felt myself was motivated by my weakness and failure due to my problems around that time ><
Besides, it had been the last three months that i could hang around with my 7 brothers in 1107 and I was sorry that i inform them late that i was going to change my degree course to Sunway. (but actually i ng seh duc to tell u guys garh =X )
However, the 3 months was gone so fast till the finals was reach on the next coming day. But luckily due to my hardworking and revising everyday, i manage to get back my 4.0 =) Hopefully, i could maintain it to my degree >_<

By the way, i had learn this quote in my life since the starting of semester4. My time is limited, so I won't and don't even waste it living someone else's life. Time passed quite fast till i spent almost a month time in KL.
For the first week, i followed my aunt down to Mid Valley and help her on with a World Heart Day Carnival by iHeal Medical Centre and also having my dental checkup at there too. It was located on the 7th & 8th floors of the Annex building in Mid Valley City. This medical centre was founded by my aunt's best friend Dr. David Khoo. Furthermore, on the second day of the preparation, all the marketing n sales management team was busy preparing for the event and even me >< suddenly all of us was surprised that my aunt told us that Chui Ling was being invited to give a talk with Dr. Khoo and Dr. Shanker. Okayy!! Get to the point first =P
On the actual date of the event, Chui Ling arrived 2 hours earlier than the starting of the event. Haha!! That's the time that my aunt and i get close with Chui Ling to make  a 3D hand sculpture for her and Dr. Khoo. However, my aunt spend half an hour "chit chatting" with Chui Ling. That time i was sitting beside with CL's pa and keep listening both of their funny conversation. From that time, i realize that Chui Ling had a friendly attitude and i can feel that she's totally not that kind of arrogant public figure. Between their conversation, suddenly CL's pa and i were interrupted and we said  (Aiyo!! "Aunties" memang banyak topics-nya, and both of them can talk for half an hour non stop >< ) It was funny =D

However, after that my aunt i went shopping in mid valley and gardens mall too. Eventually, i found three stores that captured my heart!! It was the Pipal Fine Art, Artefloor and the Art Friend. Those artworks are awesome!!

Secondly, I'm gonna talk abit of my birthday. Had a nice breakfast and dinner with my dad at Starbucks and Madam Kwan's cuisine. That day was my first time to had a movie marathon in GSC, Pavilion. I do watched Apollo 18, Abduction, The Fright Night and Johnny English reborn. However, the best movie of the day is abduction by Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins.

Thirdly, I had my last week holidays with my two adorable aunties, pith and lan too!! We went a lot places around Sunway and ate alots too till we forget to capture every moments of our happiness. One the first night, just only kheinee, pith, lan and me who watched The Sorcerer and the White Snake. Kheinee and I even tears for the story line ><  After that, we went for supper around SS15.

However, on the next day we went for brunch around sunway college and padini warehouse sales, but we back by not having any clothes on our hand. Because there were too many people pushing here and there plus the weather was damn hot!! So, we decided to go Mid Valley and we have our snowflakes at there too =P
Later on, we went setapak and fetch yenyee from her college. On the way back to sunway, we had almost jam for an hour, and finally we manage to get back to have our dinner in pyramid with the hungry tummies >_<

       

Before having the movie of the day, we went for my favorite Haagen Dazs's Paradise =D

Had the movie midnight and all of us was tired =)

The next morning was actually wanna have a breakfast which called by my dad, but almost all of us slept till 11am >< We went for our brunch in IOI mall and later we sent Yenyee back to her apartment in Setapak. That's all of my brand new life and holidays in KL and stay tuned for more stories =)

Kampar is the BEST!!!

Finally i had finished my foundation studies in UTAR and proceeding my degree course in Sunway college.
I was so happy on that day once i finish my paper, but later on when i know that i myself will be leaving kampar soon. The 2months had been the worst month i ever had. =(
It was like leaving all my friends in kampar and especially my 7 housemates. I was like staying with them and starting up a new family in kampar with 7 of them. I learn a lot from them especially yc's temper.
Since i'm the youngest in 1107 this house, they are like my brothers who helped and taught me a lot in a year.
For sure i won't forget this 7 brothers of mine!!  But don't worry, somehow i will be going back visit you guys often.

However, we do often spent our time late night and even whole night at A-station, Haji Corner, The Cues and even open our home theater bass loud and "炸歌". Lastly, I wanna thank god for bringing me to this wonderful land and taught me a lot of lessons in this area. I wish one day i could back and contribute something to this land!! Kampar Buhbyess <3

The End of My Semester Break

Wow, time passed very fast, is time for me to get bk to my Uni Life again =) but before i ending with it, i had an enjoyable night movie with my boys. We watched the Pirate of the Caribbean (On Stranger Tides).

Before the  movie starts, all of us keep searching for car park in Jusco and some even parked their car at the roof top =)
The movie was great but we couldn't a nice seat in the cinema caused Chee Fong and I "neck pain"!!!
By the way, we went for yum cha after the movie and it was a great night for me, at least i wont continue rotting myself in the house ><
However, one day when i read the newspaper, i found out an article which mentioned some tips for a great proposal.

The title is 10 Tips to a winning proposal =)

Writing a good proposal is a critical skill in many occupations, from school to business management and geology. The goal of a proposal is to gain support for your plan by informing the appropriate people. Here's a guide for us to write a winning proposal:

1 Make information easy to find
   Use a table of contents for proposals over 10 pages. Arrange information in the order that's most important to the client.

2 Use headings to guide your reader
   Give each proposal a title that stresses the main benefit to the client. Give each section a title that helps readers orient themselves. Express key selling points in subheadings.

3 Respond fully
   Answer every question in the Request  for Proposal (RFP), no matter how elementary or annoying. And make your compliance with the RFP obvious in your headings. Use the terms and jargon that the RFP uses.

4 Avoid banal headings
   Don't say "Strategy Section" when you can say "Our 10-Step Plan to Increase your sales. Use strong verbs in headings, especially verbs that stress benefits for the client.

5 Avoid business cliches
   Avoid: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering the enclosed." Get to the point: "Here is our proposal." Avoid: "If you have any questions, please feel free to call. That closing has been done to death, so bury it."

6 Be simple, direct, specific
   Be specific rather than general, definite instead of vague, concrete rather than abstract. Instead of saying " I am pleased to have this opportunity to submit to you this proposal that you requested for the marketing campaign for XYZ Company", say "I am pleased to submit this proposal to provide marketing services in response to your ad."

7 Use concrete language
   Avoid saying the general; "XYZ Comapany has considerable design experience in the areas of education and culture", when you can say the concrete: "XYZ Company has a combined total of 187 years of experience designing booklets, manuals and posters for schools, universities and museums."

8 Write in the active voice
   Sentences written in the active voice are more direct and vigorous than those written in the passive. Don't say this: "The writing and designing of the book will be done by our company", when you can say this : "Our company will write and design your book."

9 Omit needless words
   If you can cut a word and keep your meaning, cut. Rather than say "The project plan which follows suggests a possible breakdown of task components and tentative timelines," say "The following plan suggests a breakdown of project tasks and timelines."

10 Sell your solution
   Above all, avoid hype, padding and fluff. Support your recommendations with statements that stress benefits to the client. Remember that your proposal is a legal document that's part of your contract if you win.

Activities for My Semester Break =)

Next, I'm going talk about the next trip that is in KL Sunway, but it's not a happy a trip and i don't wanna mention it here. But tomorrow she is going to have her semester final. I wish her all the best n good luck at here. Love her <3

By the way, I spend 2 weeks watching a few dramas and movies that is Fast & Furious 5, Thor, Glee season 1 and 2, Only You 只有您, 飞女正传 and some episode of  點解阿Sir係阿Sir.

 Firstly, I wanna talk about glee. Because this drama brings me a lot of joy and happiness. 

Glee is meant by lovely joy but it actually meant to open ourselves to joy and not to spread hate towards a group of people. This is the lesson i learnt in the drama. 

It focuses on the high school glee club New Directions competing on the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with their relationships, sexuality and social issues. The initial main cast encompassed club director and Spanish teacher Will Shuester (Matthew Morrison), cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), and some club members played by Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith), Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron), Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Lastly, i would like to talk about my favourite football team Manchester United <3 They won the Barclays Premier League Title again and they are the league champions for an english record 19th time. Hurray!!!
